We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we meet and dance and recognise their continuous connection to culture, community, and country. We celebrate the history and creativity of this land's First Peoples and pay our respects to their Elders - past and present.

We acknowledge that we participate as guests in this living culture of jazz and blues music and dance. These art forms, created by Black American communities, represent a triumph of human spirit, courage, creativity and resilience. We’re thankful to dance them today.
